FRESH WIND FRESH FIRE
There was an air of excitement as people gathered to pray. No one knew what to expect but all were keen to seek God for more of Himself in us in 2017.
I didn’t want a repeat of a church service. I didn’t want a set praise and worship time. I didn’t want everyone sitting down listening to one person.
I wanted to see one body, crying out together, through our differences, to our God. I wanted to see individual fires being ignited and combining into corporate fires of faith. I wanted to hear a new sound of unity, permeating the heavens. The church calling the Father to come and engage more with us.
I wanted to see everyone overflowing with the love and gifts of the Holy Spirit that would transform the world in us and around us.
What I saw was the beginning of the above. Denominational walls didn’t exist in the FWFF gatherings. There was no one person running the show as the body was ministered to one another in love and in power.
I heard a church declaring the promises of God over itself. Proclaiming prophetically, all of God’s goodness over itself and over New Zealand.
I saw and I heard an army, hungry after God. Moving in love and power. Together.
Keep an eye out for the next FRESH WIND FRESH FIRE Prayer Gathering in Auckland & Wellington in the month of April and come with others – to see more of His fire and breath over our lives.
