DO YOU WANT TO GROW?

Jasmine Fidow-Maiava

We have to be intentional and strategic about going and growing. It is not enough to just talk about it. It's not even enough to just make a plan. We have to walk the talk even when we can see a clear way ahead. (Hebrews 11:1) God has plans and we have to plan to be a part of His plans. We partner with Christ when we take ownership of our growth process because nobody else will do it for us. If we want our lives to improve we must plan to do so.

Will You Believe Me for an Audi?

Jasmine Fidow-Maiava

We are not asking for things we cannot see. We are asking for things that we are certain of. Things that we hope for. We are asking for that which has been revealed to us by the Spirit.

We Are Avengers!

Jasmine Fidow-Maiava

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour and the day of vengeance of our God ...Isaiah 61: 1 - 2

Jesus came because God wanted to give us good news instead of bad news, healing instead of brokenness, freedom instead of captivity, light and vision instead of blindness, and favour and vengeance.  Graham Cooke summed it up simply and powerfully, "God is doing an "instead" work."

God's favour upon us is visible through our restoration, healing, freedom and supernatural insight.  When we proclaim God's favour in and through our lives, we are proclaiming the good news of the gospel and taking back from the enemy all he tried to steal from us.

The favour of God on us is our best revenge against the enemy.

This is not a time to be passive.  Start thanking God now for all the amazing things He has done in your life.  Keep dishing out the vengeance of God against the enemy by thanking Him for the brilliant person that you have become and still becoming!!

Here is a quote from the movie the Avengers.  FYI, Loki is the bad guy and Iron Man is the good guy...

Loki: "What have I to fear?"
Iron Man: "The Avengers.  It's what we call ourselves, it's sort of like a team.  Earth's mightiest heroes, that type of thing.."
Loki: "Yes, I've met them."
Iron Man: "It takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one.  But let's do a head count, here: Your brother, the demi-god, a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend, a man with break taking anger management issues, a couple of master assassins and you, big fella, you've managed to tick off every single one of them."
Loki: "That was the plan"
Iron Man: "Not a great plan.  When they come, and they will, they'll come for you"
Loki: "I have an army"
Iron Man: "We have a hulk"

We have the Lord God Almighty and His favour and His goodness and His power and His LOVE! Because of Him, we are an illustration of the avenging power of the cross.

Have a blessed Christmas Avengers!
